CSR and Safety Precautions

Radium India believes in contributing towards the society as a social responsibility amidst its speeding growth.
We realize the importance of responsibilities such as environmental conservation, human development, and other corporate social responsibilities. We choose to be efficient while delivering our services. Our processes and business strategies are acutely designed keeping the interests of our social responsibilities alive.
We uphold our corporate social responsibilities by -

    Regular plantations and controlling food wastage

    Conserving our resources and hence ensuring the optimum usage of electricity, water, and other valuable resources

  • Pollution Control

    Complying with the corporate social norms by aiding in controlling pollution at the factory unit

  • Noise/Water Pollution

    Conducting our manufacturing activities under the acceptable limit of 75 decibels to limit noise pollution.Using only mild softeners in our washing processes and avoiding the usage of harmful chemicals to fight water pollution

  • Water Purification

    Company has provided RO plant facilities which provide clean water to its employees. Drinking water is tested on regular interval by NABL approved Testing Laboratory, and ensure for meeting the norms of physical, chemical and bacteriological parameters.

  • Air Pollution

    Ambient air quality monitoring - Ambient air quality is tested on regular basis by NABL approved laboratory and ensures the presence of sulfur Dioxide, oxide of nitrogen and Particulate matters are below acceptance level.

  • Kitchen Kompost

    Company is collecting food waste from canteen and other degradable kitchen waste and converting in to fertilizer, which is use for gardening, done by using the "Kitchen Kompost Kit".

Safety

We consider the safety of our employees equally important to our business endeavours. We have hence laid down precautionary measures to care for our valued human resource. This includes -

Regular training and awareness programs and periodic mock drills

Consolidating a half yearly report on the status of our potable water and making sure to keep a clean and healthy office environment

Periodic Mock drills are conducted once in 2 months and recorded.

Fire fighting equipment’s are installed based on the requirement.

The work floor is marked for a safe evacuation of employees without any risk of injury in case of any emergency. Evacuation Plan is devised by highlighting emergency exit points clearly and displayed at the Emergency Exits.

Fire fighting training is given to selected employees in all departments and in all shifts. It is ensured that at any point of time inside the factory enough number of fire wardens is available to tackle any emergency situation.

Health and Safety training programs during induction shall be given to all employees. New recruits will be trained within 15 days from the date of their appointment. Regular training on Health and Safety issues will be given to all once in a year.

Free medical treatment to its employees – One dedicated Doctor visiting our facility once in a week and providing free medical advice and treatment.
